Sourced from the finest growing regions in the world.

Sip on coffees sourced from renowned regions such as Ethiopia, Brazil, Colombia, and El Salvador.

Since meeting @thebeanpedlar and making the switch to beautiful locally roasted coffee we have been able to significantly cut down on packaging by collecting coffee beans fresh from the roastery in 5kg tins. This means we no longer have packaged beans in a box covered in plastic tape being driven from Melbourne!

To minimise our environmental impact, we're urging our customers to transition from packaged coffee to reusable Airscape containers. Additionally, our coffee grounds are available weekly for customers to utilise in gardening projects.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything there is to know about our beans.

Is your coffee ethically sourced?

Yes! Our beans are Fairtrade certified coffee that has been produced under Fairtrade terms.

What’s the best way to store coffee beans?

For optimal freshness, store your coffee beans in a dry, dark, and airtight container at room temperature. Using the original bag and weighing out the beans as needed is also effective—just be sure to tightly roll the bag after each use. Aim to use freshly roasted coffee beans within 4–6 weeks of the roast date for the best flavour experience.

Do you have an espresso recipe I could follow?

With our coffee beans, we always recommend 22gm weighed, 28 seconds extraction time and 45-50ml yield (go by the flavour you prefer when extracting for yield).

What makes your coffee different?

Since we opened we’ve always prioritised top-notch, consistent coffee. Despite market fluctuations, our Ironmonger blend has upheld its distinct flavour profile, sourced from the same regions. We're committed to delivering a quality coffee experience to our customers, day in and day out.
