Colombia has a diverse group of growing regions that spread from North to South along the three “cordilleras,” the mountain ranges that are the Northern extensions of the Andes.
Most coffee, especially from the Southern growing areas of Huila, comes from small family farms. Huila has a rich coffee producing history and has recently become one of the most sought after coffee growing regions in the world.
The soils of this land provide the coffee beans with exotic flavors including notes of peach and mango, which are unique to this region alone.
